TungLok Xihe Peking Duck: Experience Authentic Cantonese Cuisine in Singapore

Love the decor and ambience of this restaurant, service was great too! Food wise, I actually didn’t quite like the Peking duck - I have tried a fair share of Peking duck at many different restaurants in SG and overseas, this is not quite up to my standard. However the rest of dishes were pretty good so I will still revisit, just won’t be having the duck again.

Ordered their set menu for lunch, and everything tasted great! Of course the star of it all is the duck. Full of flavours! The service staff is excellent as well. Attentive and not rushing, giving us ample time to enjoy each dish. Definitely recommended!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here! The Peking roast duck and lobster paofan was delicious, and the staff Mary and the manager Sharon also kindly gifted us with dessert and longevity peaches :) nice ambience and good customer service, will definitely come again :)

Had our company CNY dinner there and enjoyed the meal. Their duck is delicious! The different cuts of meat offers different flavour profiles (fatty, meaty, etc.) and comes with different sauces/accompaniments , there's something for everyone's preference. The other thing I liked is their steamed fish, delicate flavour with just the right sauce that's not overpowering.

Signature dish is the Peking duck. They offer popping candy as one of the condiments to go with the Peking Duck. I think the duck is pretty decent by itself, no need for fancy additions. You can choose for the rest of the duck to be cooked - fried or served with noodles. Fish Maw soup was amazing - thick broth filled with seafood ingredients.Delicious. Favourite dish was the steamed fish - served with salted vegetables and thin chicken strips. It’s got nice interior and declious food, service could be better. The staff assigned to our table didn’t bother changing the plates, just left the plates on the table for self serve. When swooping dishes, she split orange juice on our kid’s top and didn’t so much as offer to clean. One of the worst service staff I have encountered.

Came here for sat dinner with reservation and pre-booking of peking duck. Peking duck was fine, but nothing special. They offer a variety of sauce but it doesnt do much honestly. We added on the service to fry the meat in sauce but similarly, nothing special. Cereal prawns were big and fresh, scallop and oysters were fresh too but the sauce on the scallop was odd and too sour. Fish was big and fresh but beware of bones. The rest are really just normal and nothing mindblowing.. for the price it may not be that worth it. Not a place i will choose on purpose to visit again!

Went for Sunday dinner a couple of weeks ago. Didn't make reservations but our group of 5 was quickly seated. We ordered peking duck and we're told it would take 50 minutes, which was OK with us because we weren't that hungry yet. So we were pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 20 minutes. The duck was tasty with crispy skin that wasn't too oily. It came with 3 kinds of sauces for different parts of the duck. I loved the crispy salmon skin with salted egg too.
